13 Speeds, Zero Compromise: SRAM Force XPLR AXS Lands on the Winspace M6 and SLC 5.0

If you've been eyeing a Winspace build and wondering what's next after Di2, we've got news that'll get the drivetrain nerds among you very excited: SRAM Force XPLR AXS — SRAM's fully wireless, 13-speed, 1x groupset — is now available as a full-bike build option on both the Winspace SLC 5.0 and the all-new Winspace M6.

Yes, you read that right. Thirteen speeds. One chainring. Zero cables. Welcome to the future of road gearing.

Why put a "gravel" groupset on a road bike?

Force XPLR AXS was born on the gravel side of SRAM's range, but the tech underneath it — the Full Mount, hangerless rear derailleur, the wide-range 10-46T cassette, and the wireless AXS shifting — makes just as much sense on the road for riders who want serious range without the complexity (or weight) of a front derailleur.

Here's what makes it different from the Ultegra Di2 builds you'll already know from our SLC 5.0 range:

  • 1x13 simplicity. One chainring, one shift paddle for up, one for down. No front mech, no trim, no dropped chains.

  • Full Mount derailleur. Rather than bolting to a traditional hanger, the derailleur mounts directly around the rear axle, using the UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) standard. It's stronger, self-centring, and designed to rotate out of harm's way in a crash rather than bending or snapping.

  • 10-46T, 13-speed cassette. SRAM's XG-1371 cassette gives you a 460% gear range — tight jumps where you're spinning hardest, a genuinely climbable low end when the road tips up.

  • Wireless everything. Shifters, derailleur, and (optionally) power meter all talk to each other over AXS, with the same slick smartphone app control you get on Ultegra and RED Di2.

  • Chainring choice. The Force XPLR crank runs direct-mount rings, so you can tailor the gearing to how and where you actually ride, rather than being locked into a standard road double.

One important bit of homework: UDH

The Full Mount derailleur is a brilliant piece of engineering, but it only works on frames built around SRAM's UDH standard. Both the SLC 5.0 and M6 platforms support it — but if you're speccing a custom build or upgrading an existing frame, this is the first thing we'll check with you before anything gets ordered. Get in touch and we'll confirm compatibility for your exact frame and size before you commit.

On the SLC 5.0

Our sub-7kg all-terrain road platform already impressed with its Ultegra Di2 spec, but the Force XPLR AXS option opens it up to riders who want a genuinely wide-range road build — think long UK sportives, hilly audax routes, or anyone who's tired of spinning out or grinding to a halt on the steep stuff. Paired with the SLC 5.0's Lún Hyper 3 wheelset and Hyper handlebar, it's a build that looks as clean as it rides, with chainring options from a 42T standard right up to a 48T Aero Ring for the flatter, faster days.

On the M6

The M6 is Winspace's newest aero platform — a frame built around a deeper fork and head tube profile, wind-tunnel validated for real drag savings, and constructed from a T700/T800/M40/M60 carbon blend for a genuinely stiff, race-ready chassis. Until now it's been available with Shimano 105 and Ultegra Di2. Adding Force XPLR AXS to the options list means you can now have that aero speed with the simplicity and range of a 1x wireless drivetrain — a proper crossover build for riders who want one bike that's equally happy on a fast club run and a long day exploring further afield.

As always, every complete bike we sell includes our full UK warranty, and our UK pricing already accounts for import fees — no surprise costs at the checkout. Klarna financing is available too, so you can spread the cost if that helps.

Because this is a custom groupset swap rather than an off-the-shelf spec, we build these to order — get in touch with Simon at simon@jedicyclesport.com to talk through your ideal build, confirm UDH compatibility, and get a personalised quote.
